+/− is a digital art series that investigates the tension between experience and abstraction, presence and reduction, operating at the threshold where lived reality begins to fracture into systems of representation. Emerging from the encounter between two opposing practices, the series traces a movement from spontaneous, everyday observation toward its gradual dissolution into measurement, numerical representation, and algorithmic processes. Human, natural, and urban elements are initially perceived through the senses and subsequently reconfigured through computation. Image and sound maintain an unstable balance between immersion in the real and systemic distance, between what is experienced and what is processed, archived, and abstracted. +/− does not seek resolution. Instead, it sustains opposing forces in tension, questioning what remains of experience once reality is subjected to systems of control, and what, despite everything, continues to resist reduction.
